This page gathers the questions customers ask the Box Asia Group International (BAGI) sales team most often, in 5 groups. If your answer is not here, call 038-961-550 during office hours, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 to 17:00.
Ordering
What is the minimum order?
About 5,000 boxes per design. Offset printing needs plates and machine set-up for every job, so it is economical for volume runs.
How long does production take?
About 7 to 10 working days from proof approval. Jobs with several finishing steps or hand forming take longer.
Can I get a sample before production?
Yes. We provide an unprinted structure sample and a print proof to check before production.
Do you offer design?
Yes, both box structure design and artwork.
Can you use FSC paper?
Yes. BAGI can source paper from FSC-certified suppliers on request.
Price
How much does a paper box cost?
We quote for each actual job, so there is no list price. The main factors are the flat size of the box, quantity, paper type and weight, number of print colours, finishing and box structure.
Does the unit price fall with larger orders?
Generally yes, because plate and set-up costs are spread over more boxes.
Artwork files
How should artwork files be prepared?
We accept any file format, and an idea alone is enough to start. If you prepare print-ready files yourself, convert text to outlines, embed images, use CMYK and allow 3 mm of bleed.
What if we have no dieline yet?
Tell us your product size. We design the structure and send you a dieline to place your artwork on.
Payment and delivery
What are the payment terms?
Payment terms are agreed with our sales team company by company.
Where does BAGI deliver?
Nationwide, by transport company, including Rayong, Chonburi, Chachoengsao and the EEC industrial estates.
About the factory
Where is the BAGI factory?
98 moo 5, Nong Bua, Ban Khai, Rayong 21120. Office hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 to 17:00.
How do offset boxes differ from corrugated boxes?
Offset boxes are paperboard cartons with fine printed images, used as the product box the buyer sees. Corrugated boxes are shipping cartons, usually brown. BAGI makes offset boxes and offset-printed flute-laminated boxes, not corrugated shipping cartons.
Can BAGI boxes be used for food?
Yes, as indirect food contact packaging: a sachet, bag or liner sits between the food and the box. The factory works under GHP.
Does BAGI print anything other than boxes?
No. We make only boxes and paper packaging. We do not print leaflets, labels, stickers or books.
Which certificates does BAGI hold?
ISO 9001 and GHP certified by Bureau Veritas, and Green Industry certification.
