Offset Box Printing and Finishing in Rayong

BAGI prints boxes in 4-colour offset plus special (Pantone) colours and offers 8 kinds of finishing: printing on metallized board, hot foil stamping, embossing, spot UV, gloss and matte coating, drip off coating, window patching and OPP lamination. The factory is in Ban Khai, Rayong, and takes only box and paper packaging work.

What is offset printing, and what is it suited to?

Offset printing transfers ink from a plate through a rubber blanket onto paper. It gives fine images and even colour across the whole run, so it suits product boxes made in volume that must match brand colours.

You check and approve a proof before every production run.

How do the finishing options differ?

BAGI offers 8 kinds of finishing. The colour sample in each card is an illustration that shows how the finishes differ.

Printing on metallized board

Colour printed over metallic-surface board, so the whole box has a sheen.

Suited to supplements, tea and products that need to stand out on the shelf

Hot foil stamping

Heat presses foil onto selected areas of the paper. This needs an extra stamping die.

Suited to logos, product names and cosmetic boxes

Embossing

The paper is pressed so a pattern rises from the surface. It can be combined with hot foil.

Suited to logos and line work that need emphasis

Spot UV

Gloss coating on selected parts of the print, so they stand out from the background.

Suited to product images or logos

Gloss and matte coating

A coating over the whole sheet that guards against scratches. Gloss makes colour vivid; matte gives a smooth, soft look. Available as water-based or UV coating.

Suited to almost every kind of box

Drip off coating

A coating that creates a striking visual and tactile contrast between gloss and matte areas on the same box.

Suited to cosmetic boxes and products that need a special feel

Window patching

An opening is cut in the box and a clear film glued behind it, so buyers can see the product.

Suited to snacks, toys and household goods

OPP lamination

OPP film laminated onto the paper surface, for more resistance to rubbing and moisture.

Suited to boxes that are handled often
